- Contact and coordination of researchers, artists and invited experts
Achievements
- Design and execution of 3 different versions of the ARMT with approximately 20 assistants per execution.
OtherWise explores different ways of learning, increasing the diversity of research approaches; thus achieving, offer critical perspectives on research and education. We developed the ARMT (Alternative Research Methods Training) from 2018 to 2022, a training that aimed to critically experiment the dominant narratives in science that we often assume without question, such as objectivity and rationality. By working with alternative approaches, the training offered a space to explore other ways of knowing and reflect on current scientific knowledge and practice. 1st year: Practical training: Participatory and visual research, 2nd year: Storytelling, visual and sensory, and 3rd year: Alternative research methods: Remote editing (the word within the Covid-19 pandemic)
